Dyson Corrale™ Hair Straightener, Nickel/Copper

I splurged on this straightener since it was on sale for Prime Day. I couldn't decided between it and the AirStraight, which was also the same price. I opted for this one due to the cordless option and the fact that I have the Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer. The reviews had me concerned for the weight of the straigtener and the battery life. Out of the box, I loved the wrap that it comes in. It will be very handy for travelling, as I can put the the straigtener into the wrap hot and throw it in my bag. The instructions were easy to follow. There is a sticker to show how to take it out of airplane mode (it is shipped in airplane mode), how to unfold the cradle, how to attach the charging cord to the cradle, and put the straightener in the cradle. Voila, straightener is charging. Pretty quickly, I was able to use the straightener. I have thick, wavy hair. I sectioned it into a couple of sections, powered the straightener to 410, and went to work. 7-8 minutes later my hair was soft and straight. I even used it to curl the ends. Full disclosure, I use pretty chunky sections. So I'm doing a fair amount of hair when I pull it through. I didn't have any tugging or yanking from the straightener when I pulled it through, which I get from my other straighteners. I also usually put my straighten at 430 when I use it. So being 20 degrees cooler, I was really happy with the results. When I travel, I'll still probably bring the cord, but not the cradle and just charge it every day. The charge is more than enough for me to do all my hair and I didn't notice a difference in the weight as compared to my previous straightener. Overall, really happy with my purchase!

Long time Dyson customer and fan of their products, until now. This product is trash. Runs out of charge after 30 minutes of use even when plugged in. Whose hair can be done in 30 minutes? Nobody. Very expensive and unusable. Makes me rethink every future product choice decision and excluding Dyson

Bought this a while back for my wife and she uses it several days out of the week. Works great for travel since it’s battery powered. Battery has held up great. Her hair always looks good so I’m assuming this is a good straightener lol

I love the Dyson corrale to straighten my hair. I have very very thick and long hair that is naturally wavy but the Dyson corrale straightens it with ease. The one downside is the battery life. I have now owned 3 of these straighteners and the first two both lasted two years almost on the dot before the battery conked out and would only last 30-60 seconds before dying. Obviously I love the product enough to continue replacing them but I really wish Dyson would work on improving that as this is quite a pricey product to have to replace so often.
