A: Yes. You need Teflon lined or nylon hose if you're trying to pull that much vacuum.

**Q: Will it work for PCV hose? Some reviews say it collapses? Does anyone know for sure that has used it for PCV venting?**
A: This  is   an  automotive  fuel  line  hose with  a  narrow   opening   it  will  compress  and  deform  under  pressure   you can  park a car on it    ?
  that would  restrict  air or  fuel from  flowing  until  the weight  is removed      then  return  to  original    shape  .....PCV  will  crack
