I ordered this to replace the same towel I ordered over 4 years ago. I hang my towel on a hook, and eventually the hook started to fray the towel. I'd still be using my old towel if I would've hung it on a rod instead of a hook. The color stayed true, and the towel softened after a dozen or so washings. If you like thick, fluffy towels, then this isn't for you. It's fairly thin and more course than a usual towel. It feels thicker than it actually is because of the waffle pattern. It absorbs water well. It also dries quickly which means it never got the foul smell than many bath towels eventually get (like all towels, don't use fabric softeners or dryer sheets). I'll buy it again in 4+ years when this one wears out from being hung on a hook.

A perfect towel for vacation. It softens up and shrinks ever so slightly after washing, as posted in details. Very lightweight. Takes up little room in suitcase. Surprisingly absorbent! Huge! My new vacation towel. Very happy with this purchase.

I am officially converted. I fell in love with these cotton waffle bath towels and can never go back to fluffy towels again. I’ve actually been using this style of towel for about 12 years, and these are exactly why I stick with them. They’re thin and lightweight but still very absorbent, and they dry incredibly fast. No more heavy towels staying damp forever or developing that musty smell. They feel clean, breathable, and spa-like every time I use them. They also take up much less space in the washer and linen closet, which is a huge bonus. If you like towels that dry quickly, feel light, and actually do their job, these are a great choice. Highly recommend.

purchased the gray set and it is a nice color as well as weave. followed the prewash instructions before use. however, i did dry on a low cycle in the dryer which did produce a slight ripple effect on one edge.....was to be expected per instructions. nothing to get upset over and i think will disappear after next wash. if you are used to using a thicker wash cloth you will notice a difference right away: if used to steam your face not enough fabric to hold the heat. BUT the fabric does hold a lot of water and is very good for a gentle exfoliating type action. tradeoff. i really like that this fabric does allow me to wring it out really well and get a much quicker drying action which will reduce that off smell that develops when fabric is left too dry. yes, would recommend as long as you are clear for what you want and expect. if you need thick luxury look elsewhere. oh, and i do like how little storage room these occupy. while i do miss "steaming" my face for a longer period, i do not miss the mildew smell.
