I've tried various things but I thought I might give a weighted blanket a go.After a week, it's hard to say for sure if it's helped or not. I've not had much problem sleeping since I've started using it though. That may just be normal though, since my insomnia comes and goes. We shall see.As to the blanket itself, this one had the best measurements at 122cm wide. Others were around 150cm and I didn't want it to annoy my partner in bed.It seems well made. The quilted design means the beads don't move about, and apart from the obvious weight, it may as well be a normal blanket/duvet. I was also a bit worried about it being too hot (I put it over the top of my summer duvet), but it doesn't seem to have very much insulation, so overheating isn't a problem.Yes, it's pricey, but if it works it'll likely last for as long as I will. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great item, but loose threads quickly become an issue *by A***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 November 2020* Great item, good sizing and it's really helpful to sleep with. The only issue I have with this item is that the threads in each section of the blanket did break rather quickly, so the weigh tends to sink towards certain areas of the blanket.
