But the high protein content was a bit strong for one of my cats and caused lose stool. It was so bad, I had to take him (long haired) to the groomer to clean and shave his hygiene area. I later frd him some pumpkin puree that remedies the issue. But now I'm nervous to feed with this brand again. No knock on the product per se. But the formula is too strong in some way for one of my cats. It is also the most expensive brand I've tried. I typically feed the "Instinct" brand. Instinct offers a high protein formula, so I may give that a try since my kitty is used to that formula. I really wanted to love this food, as it seems like a good quality option.
