Not great, very bad noise cancelling
Was pretty disappointed by these. They are no match for the Samsung or Sony air buds. They say they have active noise cancelling (the main reason I wanted them) but you can hardly tell when it's actived. The sound itself is fine in a quiet room but go outside and turn up the volume and the sound is very tinny and compressed.

Latency issues
Sound quality is great but these buds have a severe latency issue. You can't watch any video as the sound is a good half a second behind the content. Turning on low latency gaming mode helps a little, but the sound is still noticeably out of sync with the content. Turning off LHDC or hi res makes no difference either. Manually setting the device to use AAC or SBC also does not help. This issue doesn't happen with any other buds I've got, even LDAC ones which are supposed to have higher latency on paper. This issue appears to have been on going for a few months so I decided to return them. I honestly would not bother wasting your time with these.

They're ok
They're ok.. noise cancelling is excellent, if you drop the case the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the earbuds inside..

Its a bit of a lemon
I bought these after losing one of my pixel buds that I had been using for about 3 years and after watching a review by someone who seemed to be doing a good job of comparing all the brands and ranking them. He ranked these above pixel buds pro in performance alone. After using them for a while I realized I was stuck with a lemon. The noise cancellation is not a patch on pixel buds pro, it does not touch low frequencies at all which makes running pretty unpleasant in the gym when all you can hear drowning out your chilled 160bmp rythm is the shock beat from the music of the body pump class in the gym studio. Volume control is really hit and miss, one wrong move with you twitchy fingers mid-run and you knock them flying out of your ears. In places like supermarkets where the noise is very complex the active noise cancellation gets so confused it can end up driving the volume way higher in one side than the other or simply killing what you are listening to. If you use multiple devices, pairing is inconsistent, I never really worked it out, I would sometimes go round switching off devices until the one that had it released it, because it doesn't actually seem to have a reliable disconnect option of its own. It has software with lots of bells and whistles that don't help because they just haven't got the basics right. Admittedly, they are much cheaper than pixel buds but I was swayed by the review. Anyway, today I managed to lose one of the earpieces flying forever into the undergrowth and am almost relieved about it, as I have now ordered a new set of pixel buds pro and am looking forward to a stress free listening experience once more.
