The 4 curve pieces have been missing from other Lego track kits - they only included the flex track pieces which are not very helpful when all you want is to make or expand another curve. The flex track pieces are useful for making some interesting layouts but they are best for allowing smaller adjustments in angles , used 3-4 together, than building a regular half or quarter curve, which can require many pieces and are noisy when the train runs over them; use regular curve pieces instead for most curves if you can. Of course, the straight pieces are always needed and you can never have enough of these. Excellent product
These are just what I needed to expand my LEGO train layout. Should work great with any of the LEGO train sets available, and even the discontinued sets. And the price is pretty good here on Amazon.
