I have a white wood color so I don't want it hidden w grain or color. Ty!** A: I used took my indoor small kitchen island cart outside and to protect it I spray painted the Thompson water seal on it. I gave it 3 coats and let it sit in our 100 degree sun. I live in Florida and have a boat dock in my back yard. Every 2-3 years I power wash the entire deck and seal the wood decking. I saw negative reviews about this product with previous customers claiming the product was milky and did not apply well. Some thought the product was bad. I can tell you I bought 2 cans of this product because I trust the brand name Thompson’s Water Seal. Yes, the product was a milky consistency coming out of the can. I used a pressure sprayer to spread the product. It applied milky, but quickly penetrated the wood decking and dried clear, giving my boat dock a beautiful finish. I don’t understand the reviews complaining about the product. I am a very satisfied customer and will use this waterproofing sealer again.
