Easy to set up, works well, good for the price

I’ve never done any kind of laser engraving or cutting before, so I went into this totally blind. This came fully assembled except for one cable to be plugged in and one screw to be connected. Super simple. The software is free, which is great. The manual has detailed instructions on how to use it and settings for a variety of materials. Definitely useful! My first test on a piece of scrap isn’t perfect, it’s from a PNG file. But it worked, stayed within the area, and took about 2 minutes. For a first attempt, it’s more user error than machine error. I can’t wait until I fiddle around with this some more and get the rest of my blanks and see what it can do when I have it all figured out. This is pretty much plug and play. I have mine connected by USB to a Windows surface Air laptop with Windows 11. No problems. Great price for a basic machine.
