Can you add real juice to the water before you carbonate it?

As the first comment said, you cannot add anything to the water before you carbonate it or you will explode. Don’t ask me how I know, just be prepared for an explosion of foam. Also, you should not carbonate white wine in this to make champagne. Well, you can, but be prepared for the aforementioned explosion. :-) But you can certainly add anything you’d like after the water is carbonated. I often will make some seltzer in a bottle and squeeze some lime juice in it, for instance.

Why does it leak air when pressing the top button? Like the wind blowing at the connecting area

The water bottle may not be positioned correctly. When the bottle is inserted at an angle and up into the machine, and then pushed in to the vertical position, it should be “hanging” from the top connection and there will be a gap between the bottom of the bottle and the baseplate. That should eliminate any air from escaping. Also, make sure you are using bottles that are designed to work with the Sodastream. Good luck and may the fizz be with you!
