I bought two of these kiosks and had an issue with a key getting stuck in a lock. I contacted the company to ask about the product number for the lock and they sent me new locks/keys no questions asked! They responded and solved the issue quickly. The stand itself is sturdy and holds the tablet securely. You can change around the angle the tablet is displayed which is great!

My company uses iPads as kiosks for many retail locations and we needed a good looking, completely enclosed solution for the new iPad 10.5 7th Gen. This one from CTA Digital is pretty much the only one. I've bought a lot of different CTA products and they are top of the line for design, but the locks are always an issue. For this one, I wish that there were better instructions. This is a multi-tablet design, that uses foam inserts and plastic covers to fit a variety of tablets. But there are literally no instructions other than a couple small labels, none of which say iPad 7th gen (Thank god I knew that the 10.5 iPad Air was close enough). So what's the big problem? The lock broke on the first use. Literally the first time I secured my tablet. I thought I was screwed. But then I found a horrifying solution, which meant I figured out how to bypass lock, easily, with no tools, in about 15 seconds. Now, I don't want to detail what the bypass is, as if you don't know how the lock works, you might not figure it out. But now that I know, I can open any of these stands in seconds and have the iPad out with no damage or even evidence. The actual stand is really nice, looks great, very stable, but if the security of the stand is key, do NOT buy this stand.

I bought 3 of these for iPad kiosks in small spaces. They are doing the job nicely and look very professional. Some have reported the locks are fragile. I do find them a bit delicate but once locked we have little or no reason to remove the iPad from the stand, so they are doing the job we need.

Lightweight and secure

It is a very sturdy stand and sleek looking stand. However, you cannot use the camera with the ipad 11 inch pro. The case encloses/blocks the camera from being operational. It also encloses the power button so you cannot access that either.
