Very thin carpet! Should be made from rubber. I do not recommend this product. It falls apart easy. Little black frays and balls everywhere.

This was very easy to install and also if you need to move it due to moving of your office space. Sticks very well to a clean surface. Easy to clean with a vacuum and very durable.

This mat is good to use on hard floors. I use it at my computer desk with my computer chair and it provides nice traction so my chair doesn’t roll all over the place. It has a durable texture and the bottom has a no slipping feature so it sticks to the floor. My only complaint is that the mat came folded up in the box so it has creases that have not quite flattened out yet.
