I usually lift weights at the gym but needed something I can travel with at hotels or use at work (I work 12 hour shifts). While not as good as free weights, it gets the job done and I can at least get some sort of workout in on the go.

This set has changed my life. I now workout most mornings. The bands cover a big range, from very light to heavy resistance. The high point is the bar - quality construction. The bearing surfaces that the rings are attached to spin freely even with the heaviest loads. My other less expensive bar tends to bind when I put heavier bands on it.

I used these bands along with free weights. Initially, a great band to work with but after 6 months 2 of the bands broke.

I thought the bands were going to be too easy, as it turns out... Perfectly tough! The medium one is perfect!

I bought this as an alternative to the X3 to see if I would like working out with something like this. Overall, I think someone dedicated could get stronger with this system but in general I think the cons outweigh the pros with this system. If I were to do it over again, I would just buy a set of dumbbells.The main problems with this system are:1. The bands are pretty annoying to change. A quick-release carabiner type device would help.2. Obviously, due to the nature of resistance bands, you will lose tension at a part of the movement. Unfortunately I feel like this is so significant that you only actually have meaningful tension over like 1/3 of a movement. Not real effective in my opinion.I think this is pretty effective for things like bicep curls and tricep press. Squats are not fun with this. And the claim of 500 lbs is totally bogus. Maybe if you're like 10 ft tall?Anyway, the equipment itself is pretty good quality. I just think the whole system is lacking and I will probably be giving this away to someone else.

For the price point I was afraid it was going to feel cheap. But It is a high quality product that works fantastic.

Researched for months, bought and made my own stand plate to exceed that $550 x3, safe effectiveness less cost. Quality.
