I bought this for my snub nosed revolver and when new the holster snugly. It form fitted the gun, but as I used it the leather loosened and the gun will now fall out of the holster if I turn it upside down. I am afraid the gun fall out during a run or some other action. I will be getting another brand. If it had a retaining strap this would not be a problem.

goes outside belt which is good as revolvers are too wide to be comfortable inside pants. gun fits snugly

This seems to be a well made, economical carry holster for S&W 649. The only thing I'm not sure about is the cloth sewn on binding around the edges.
