It lasts
Easily the most consistent hog bait Iโve used. The pig oil stays longer and works longer than anything else. It draws hogs from a long ways away by sticking to pigs and they carry the scent into the woods and others follow it back. Iโve used it for over 10 years and thereโs no reason to use anything else. Quality product.

GREAT STUFF!
I caught 23 pigs with Pig Oil! I had a group of hogs come up and destroy my front yard. I ordered the pig oil and put it in my trap and 2 nights later I trapped 23 of them!

Hogs show no visible interest in this "attractant".
This does not work with hogs in the southwest hill country of Texas. I saturated a tree trunk next to a feeding area where a sounder of hogs feed every night. They have gotten within 3 feet of the "attractant" and do not have any interest in it. They just walk right by. I am not sure what this is intended for but it definitely does not attract hogs.

THIS PRODUCT WORKS!!!!
I have used Pig Oil for the past year now and can say it definitely works. If there are hogs around they will be attracted by the smell. I soak a rag with Pig Oil and wrap it around a tree as far as I can reach so the wind will catch the smell and draw the hogs. I also paint some Pig Oil on several tree trunks 2-3 feet off the ground. Hogs are very nomadic and it may take several days before they show up. When they do show up they will rub the bark off the trees. I have had very good success with Pig Oil and will continue to use it.

Not the same as it was
The first time I used this stuff (about 4 or 5 years ago) it had a ranker, stronger smell to it. It was almost like a catfish stinkbait smell. And it worked. Well I spent my $25 on a bottle last week with great anticipation of using this to set up my son and I's first hog hunt together. Opened the bottle and I'll be damned if it didnt smell like soy sauce and molasses. Very disappointing. I paid $25 for bottle of rank s*** and got a bottle of soy sauce. Not saying it wont work. Just saying its not the same stuff (to me) as before. And its not all I use. I also make homemade corn bait in buckets and use a pig pipe. Its just that the Pig Oil was always the "kicker" in my set ups. Thats my review.
