Great sunblock
Goes on very smoothly and doesn't leave the white residue most mineral sunscreens leave. Did well protecting in Caribbean sun.

Need to reapply every 80 minutes.
This is my review for Bright+Block SPF 40 Sheer Mineral Sunscreen. This is advertised for "young sensitive Skin". I think they shlud advertise this as something for Sensitive Skin Period! We seniors do have sensitive skin too and if anything we need more protection than younger folk. We have thiner more delicate skin due to Collagen breakdown. It would not be such a good think if Grandmom got sunburned! In any case I am that grandmom and this sunscreen worked very well for my skin. It is a 40 spf and 17 % Zinc. I followed the suggested application time table of reapplying every 80 minutes. It seemed to work well as long as I kept to that timetable and kept well hydrated as well. What I didn'tlike is that at the end of the day I could rub my fingers along my forehead along the area between my hairline and my face and it felt like thick dried cream was rolling up. That had to have been the sunscreen of which I applied many layers. It was a bit on the thick side coming out of the tube and felt thick spreading across my skin when applying it. I don't particularly like that feeling on my skin so this is ot something I would order again. The other thing that I wasn't fond of was the cost. That is $40 for 2.1 oz and we should apply this every 80 minutes? This container will not last long at that rate. I only used it for 2 hours in the afternoon over all the areas that were exposed. That was alot. No I probably would not order this again. It is costly and you need to use alot.

I love this enough to put on my fiver year old.
It is so hard to find a good mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast. I would much prefer to use a mineral sunscreen to a chemical one but because they are so thick and since I wear a lot of makeup, I end up wearing chemical sunscreens. I usually end up using ones from South Korea because they are so much lighter and my skin absorbs them like a regular light moisturizer, but it makes me nervous because I know they haven't been approved by the FDA. This sunscreen solves all of my problems! This is a much thinner mineral formula than I am used to and it doesn't leave a white cast. My skin absorbs it easily and I love that it is SPF 40. I wish that it was 50, but anything over 30 is great. There is a scent but it doesn't bother me. This is by far the best mineral sunscreen I have ever used and I have used it on my five year old as well with no complaints!

Doesn't seem as effective as my other mineral sunscreens
I am very pale and have to wear sunscreen daily on my face. Typically I use Korean chemical sunscreens, but on days where I'm really gonna be out in the sun for a long time I have found mineral sunscreen to be much more effective. I typically use Mustela brand but you can really tell that you're wearing sunscreen with that one. This suncreen caught my eye since it's water resistant and claims to have no white cast. This sunscreen doesn't have a heavy fragrance and feels good going onto my face, it's not too thick or tacky. I like that this doesn't leave a white cast, but the complete lack of white cast in a MINERAL sunscreen made me concerned at the effectiveness. Unfortunately, I did try this out during our recent vacation in Tulum, and my face did get a little sunburned.Sadly I ended up falling back to using my other (much cheaper) branded mineral sunscreen for the rest of my vacation. The downside with my other mineral sunscreens is that they are tacky and leave a significant white cast... but they actually work. For the very high price tag, I'm not super impressed. Someone with less pale skin might have better results in the effectiveness.

Expensive for 40spf
This sunscreen is mineral with 17% zinc oxide. It doesn’t have a tint. It’s very easy to spread and it’s sheer at 40spf. It’s waterproof as well. I do wish there is lab testing for the 40 spf like other brands haves. For the price, I think the spf should be a lot higher than 40. No irritation and dries quickly.

odorless, does not leave white cast
This sunscreen does not advertise itself as good for children but says it is good for young skin, however while using this I felt similar feeling as if I was using the toddler's sunscreen. I was able to cover a large area with minimal sunscreen, and I liked the fact this sunscreen did not have any kind of smell, as last mineral sunscreen I bought had some sort pungent smell. I also like the fact it has a pump, I think it's second best way sunscreen could be packaged, first one being a stick. When I applied the sunscreen, it did not leave any white cast, but it took few swipes before the white disappeared.I think it's moderately high priced given the price about $40, but if it's really Vegan, cruelty free, and made in USA as promised I would understand.and yeah, its waterproof gotta love this.

Feels great and and non irritating to wear while providing good protection
So I've been using this by the pool everyday and I've been noticing it a lot less irritation on my face afterwards I think it works better than the normal sunscreen I've been wearing in fact it's definitely a lot less thick so I really enjoy that feeling on my face overall I find that it goes on really well my skin feels great while wearing it I don't notice any irritation and I'm like other products I've used I'm not having breakouts afterwards which is my main issue with sunscreen so I have to say I'm quite impressed ultimately I really love the way it feels and I'm impressed with the protection that I have while wearing it I haven't gotten a single sunburn since. I definitely would recommend it because it's a great value and it seems to be pretty effective while being skin friendly

Mineral sunscreen SPF 40
This mineral sunscreen works great during my hiking trip and is lightweight with no white cast. It absorbed nicely with no residual tackiness. For my combo skin, it also did not cause any breakouts.
