I use Tama Roadpro series cymbal stands, 3 of them plus other hardware. I have to take a couple of them apart to get everything in, however, that's a small issue. The case is great. Easy to handle and not as top heavy as others I've used. I have had SKB for over 20 years and that company is awesome. Very few issues, but, when there was, they handle them like a boss. Lifetime warranty. They truly stand behind their products.

Heavy! Duty
I love the storage capability. It handles most of my 'circus band' kit accessories. The configuration is perfect but, damn, that is one heavy case. It is difficult to get up and down stairs. Still, I will keep it :)

As good as it gets for strength and protection. Great versatility if the compartments work for your stuff...
I watched the videos before I bought this so I knew it would be both big and quite heavy - yep, twas so.The thing is ultimately solid and once the top straps are on the whole thing feels so secure you feel as though you could drop it out of an aircraft and the contents would survive.I use heavy weight double braced hardware (mostly DW and some Gibraltar) and I have to admit that I can't get quite as much to fit in it as the videos seemed to suggest. But for the last trip it took 14x6.5 snare, music, stick bag, snare stand, two cymbal stands and a huge DW tom stand with cymbal arm - that was about full. If it were about 3" longer then you could more easily fit cymbal/tom stands without having to remove the telescoping sections which decreases the amount of stands you can carry. But then if it were 3" longer it would no longer be the perfect fit in the back of my Audi S7, so I guess it's all a compromise. Very, very strong, doubt I will ever need another one.

I bought this in August '22 and it immediately broke on me. First guitar center was no help with my return (should have used Sweetwater). Once I contacted skb, they wanted to me to pay for shipping this giant case back to them even though it was defective. Once I got that sorted and finally sent it, they took 2 more weeks to finally send a replacement. I am a full time musician and having my work tools fail on me is frustrating but having such poor customer service is simply unacceptable. From start to finish I was out of a case for a whole month. I won't be working with skb or guitar center again.

Bought this for my Husband he loves it, works well for his needs and it makes carrying around the stands and sticks and such so much easier. Does get heavy though but helps with Wheels. Also he managed to break a wheel and they sent a new one.

Two Stars
Very large and heavy. Doesn't hold much equipment. Too narrow

Roomy and built!
I am able to fit as many stands as I need in the top tray of the case. If you've been breaking down stands for years, you'll notice you have to split store, or pull the tubes out of the legs. Stands won't fit all together in one piece, you must disassemble them. I saw that right off the bat. I can fit three booms and a hi hat stand in top. Snare, still in a soft case, goes under, then the pedal in the other part. Cymbal vault is great. I have overloaded 22" and down with no issues. My only real complaint is the casters suck. I mean it. I have a lot of union crews move my stuff and I've already had two sets ruined. There isn't a suitable upgrade that matches these holes. Next case will be ATA with really big casters.Get this case. It's perfect.

The person who gave this two stars is only disappointed he didn't read the product description.
This case is PERFECT for gigging drummers who regularly use house drum kits at clubs. Fits my snare, pedal, sticks, throne, and 5 cymbals with plenty of room to spare (though not for cymbal stands). One could easily fit merch such as t-shirts in with their gear. I'm flying to SXSW next week and will most likely pack my clothes in with my gear to save myself a piece of luggage. I live and regularly play shows in NYC and I wish I'd had this 10 years ago! The best accessory investment I've made in years.

It's not as good as a full proper trap case that you might ...
Pro: If you're clever enough you can fit all your hardware, snare and cymbals in here. It is MAGIC.Con: Awkward to fit a 22" cymbal in it and it's "heavy".It's not as good as a full proper trap case that you might see backstage at a stadium, but you can't fit one of those in the back of a van, and you don't have roadies carrying it around for you. As another reviewer mentioned the wheels could be beefed up, but I have not had any trouble with it so far. I haven't beaten it up too much though so your milage may vary.Overall very happy.Update 2023: 5 years in and still happy. I've replaced the wheels with more substantial casters, and as well the screws that hold them in place with stainless steel as salt and water had destroyed the old ones (they're 1/4-20 1/2 inch btw).

Thank goodness it's got wheels
I bought this to carry my breakables over seas for short touring. First thing I noticed is the cymbal vault is very limited to basic cymbals. With a ride, 2 crash, and one pair of hats, it won't accommodate a China, nor a second set of hats. However, there is enough room in the snare holder to fit the extra cymbals with their padding to protect the drum skin. Multiple pedals fit great in the deep side compartment. It's very spacious in their but not enough for your throne seat. The top compartment has a deep trough and can handle a fare amount of stands. I kinda wish it came with a heavy duty strap to pull for more travel/load/unloading.Let's see how it holds up to flights. It looks strong and is heavy when loaded. Fingers crossed.I'm only giving it 3 stars because I have no idea how it will hold up. If it's still in one piece and my stuff isn't damaged, then geat! 5 star
