Bird Deterrents for Outside Patio, 12 Pcs Bird Scare Discs Fishbone

This worked great at keeping the woodpeckers away from the siding on our house.

I have some others and grabbed these because they were such a good bargain. They look great and when they catch the sun and spin the effect is really cool. there are beams of light that reflect all over the gardenThere are 4 strings of 3 reflectors, each about 18" long. But you can mix and match them anyway you like. They seem pretty sturdy and made it through the summer. they are a little narrower than others i have, but that helps keep them from getting bent

I waited over a month to set it up. And I regret it. I can’t return it, it does not work. The day after placing them on my sliding glass door. A bird bangs against the glass. I’m so sad. It’s as if it attracted the bird rather than deter it. You can see his residue at the top left from the reflector.

We had a problem with birds perching on our swing frame and using the swing as their bathroom. We hung the reflectors and no more bird poop!!

I just put it up so I can’t account for how well it keeps birds away but it’s a nice product. My recommendation is to buy two packs though and make the strands longer than 3. I think 5 each look nice and doesn’t seem too short. Pictured is 4 together

I feel that these are working to deter birds from hitting windows and dying.

Swallows just ignore them a build nests mere inches away.

Easy to put to work. They come flat and pre assembled. Just remove the protective covering , give them a twist and hang them up. I used them to help protect my raised bed gardens. They project shimmering light for quite an area depending on the amount of sunlight. Keeps birds and chipmunks away.
