Smooth, Fresh, and Surprisingly HighโQuality Gyokuro
Iโm pretty new to gyokuro, but this Senbird version genuinely impressed me. The moment I opened the package, I could tell it was sealed properly and kept incredibly fresh โ the aroma alone made me feel like I was getting something premium. The leaves look vibrant, the quality seems excellent, and the flavor is smooth, rich, and calming even for a beginner like me. I wasnโt sure what to expect, but this turned out to be a great introduction to highโgrade Japanese tea. Iโll definitely be buying more.

Impeccably fresh and delicate
This is a premium tea: expensive, but worth it. The leaves are bright green, brewing up into a mellow golden cup that is both soothing and energizing. I never expected to find tea like this outside of Japan--you'll want to create a ritual around drinking it!

Decent, fresh, aromatic Premium Gyokuro
The aroma right out of the bag is rich and inviting. Once brewed, the tea delivers a gentle sweetness that lingers on the palate, and I appreciate how low the astringency is; even on subsequent steeps it stays smooth and easy-going without the sharp bite you can get from some other greens. Flavor-wise it leans into that refined umami you expect from Gyokuro, but itโs balanced by the natural sweetness and silky mouthfeel which makes every cup enjoyable. The cost-to-quality ratio is decent: while not the most premium Gyokuro out there, for daily sipping or sharing it holds its own. If you love aromatic, sweet, low-astringency Japanese greens, this is a tea worth trying.

Sweet, delicate and mellow
This was my first time trying this brand of tea and I was very pleased with the delicate flavor and natural sweetness that I haven't found in other green tea. This is premium quality. I believe the growing method really makes a difference, something I had not cons before.
