I have an orphaned 4 day old kitten. I'm trying to do everything I can for her. Has anyone used this for a newborn?

The snuggle kitty is a life saver. Last year was our greatest challenge as we found a less than 1-day old kitten that had been abandoned by his mom (a brother was already dead). The weather was cold and he was hypothermic. He weighed only 58 grams (just over 2 ounces). Without the constant warmth of the snuggle kitty and the "heartbeat" I sincerely believe our little guy would not have made it. Today Jasper has overcome many medical problems in his first year but is now as normal as normal can be (with help from his foster dad Louie who took over the mom duties of cleaning and teaching him how to be a cat). The internet is full of advice on hand raising a young kitten. Follow the advice of your veterinarian (and if your vet is not encouraging find another one). Raising a newborn kitten is a challenge and a lot of work, but the reward is great. Has anyone used this product for an older kitty?  Our 2 year old cat has separation anxiety...Thinking of trying this.

Our 19-year-old kitty lost her lifelong buddy about 6 weeks back, and seemed kind of lost at night, wandering and crying. I remembered that I had a Snuggle Kitty from when she was young (around 1999), but the heartbeat mechanism didn't have a way to change the battery, which had long since died. We ordered this new version (we nicknamed her "Snuggle Kitty 2.0"), and it's really helped her settle down at night. Since the nights have been a little cool around here, the heat packs (we ordered extra) and the heartbeat seem to help a lot.
