It is more about learning techniques than following step by step instructions.

this Harvey model is probably at the third level, below the middle.
it is not suitable for beginners,But it's not particularly difficult, as long as you have experience in assembling sailboat models.

If you like a challenging puzzle—then buy this kit. It’s really dissappointing that the only thing they need is a better set of instructions and this would be a great kit. The photos are inaccurate. Step by step instructions are non existent. Both of these issues are easy to solve given the thousands of model builders who would be glad to provide accurate instructions and photos. If you are a skilled modeler and like a challenge then buy the kit. If you are new at ship building and need accurate photos and instructions—this kit is not for you.
