12KW Hybrid Solar Inverter 48V DC to 120/240V AC Split Phase, Pure Sine Wave Inverter with Dual MPPT 500V PV Input, 220A Charging, Parallel Ready for Home Backup Off-Grid Solar System

I bought this about a week ago. I included a video. (You can go my YT channel and get a discount code for this unit limited time)... This is my Initial Impressions and it may or may not change, as I test it out over the next few weeks. The item was packed nice and arrived in less than a week, from the main supplier in Hong Kong. When I was reading the Manual ( which was quite good as opposed to others I have had), I did have a couple of questions. I contacted Anenji through Amazon and they got back to me the next day. Installation was pretty simple. Right out of the box it was pre set to the correct voltage, parity, hertz, 2 phase and battery options. While I will be testing this over the next couple of weeks and tweaking some things, so far there has been no issues. Besides the nice manual, I really like the touch screen menu. I also love the fact that all the settings are compartmentalized to the icons on the screen... So when you tap the Battery icon for example you see all the settings related to the batteries. This has 12000 watts out put so you can use a 50 amp breaker in your critical load center. It will handle two strings of pannels at 6000 watts each and has two separate mmpt charge controllers. I will post any updates here as I test out some different things. So far, at this price, I really don't know how you can beat it...

This is my second inverter, and I have to say I wish this would have been my first. Took about 15 minutes total to swap out my existing charger with this one. The user interface is better, the instructions are understandable, the connections are solid, it's quieter than my last, it puts out 2kw more than the inverter it replaces, and was $700 less expensive. I a 5kw solar array attached to it with 25kw of battery storage. Primary use it charging the car, but it will run my house for roughly 72 hours with no charging, and the inverter puts out more than enough power to keep the freezers cold, lights on, and AC cranked, and the internet up. There are at least 2 apps that support it, I recommend the Smart Value app. Cleaner UI, easy to read and understand.

The inverter is nice! Balances every electrical load in the house perfectly. Also gives a little notification beep in the morning when the solar panels are doing their job, and the same little beep at the end of sunset. The BMS (default is Pylon protocol) matches with my 314 Ah battery. The inverter's solar MPPT caps out around 27 amp, but there's two 27amp bringing a total of 54 amp max to the battery; so I managed well especially since the voltage cap is 500v. Overall, my solar array produces ~5,000 watts for 7 hours on a typical AZ day. The inverter handles the input with no problem and runs 2,600-3,200 watts output (A/c, lights, refrige, etc) while seeing a positive (+) charging on my battery bank. Happy battery= happy customer!

It took some work as there were some gotchas around zero export, and landing the wires in the AC terminals requires the patience of a saint, but with those problems out of the way the device works extremely well. Pros: - 12kw for a grand is incredible value. - it works on and off grid. - packed with features (zero export, timed charging / discharging, 90-500v MPPT x 2, easy touch screen interface). - parallel up to 6 units (72kw) Cons: (very few) - The manual was a little lost in translation in places. A little more effort with text and diagrams would really help. - The wiring bay is very small. Use some needle nose pliers and stranded #6 THHN. - It uses more power than I'd like to run itself, around 1.5kw a day. Bear that in mind if off grid. Testing: - I've run my home via zero export and off grid using the Anenji it ran flawlessly in either scenario. - Handled concurrent base load, 2 TVs, PC, microwave, kettle and furnace running no problem. - No LED light flicker. Support: - Anenji support (via Whatsapp) were prompt, accurate and helpful.

This inverter is honestly a hidden gem. I've been running it for 4 months. No hiccups. Two notes: hybrid mixing mode is weird. It's not like how growatt does it. You cannot share neutrals with your main panel in off grid mode. Youll need to wire them all. Don't bother with the wifi dongle if you can. Use solar assistant instead with USB.

This is the best hybrid inverter. I like the fact that I can set it up in so many ways. I have it set up to use batteries between 4 to 9 pm when my utility company charges the most for electricity and solar charges the batteries during the day.
