It took me 2 times so I could order and try. This one was far too light for me. I knew I liked the light balm texture and coverage so I ordered the next shade and it was a better color match. I would recommend buying at least two so you can test what works best for you. It’s a lighter consistency and texture than some other balm foundations I’ve tried. I like that it combines a bit of spf, too. It dries down decently but I still use a setting powder or a setting spray to get a bit more longevity out of it. It’s the perfect foundation for the summer! There is a small puff applicator but I tend to use my fingers and works fine. I would say it’s between light to medium coverage. It is buildable.
