I bought these a few months ago for growing my garden seedlings, and after they're all grown and planted, I can now comment on how they actually worked. They did a fantastic job, with two lights per 2' X slightly longer than 4' shelf. My peppers were so green and uniform, and almost 100% of them were budding by the time they started getting moved outside for hardening off. Same thing with the tomatoes, except I kept the lights higher than recommended above those, and they did get a little leggy. That was not the fault of the lights, and the plants were still fine though.I have used 4' 2-tube florescent shop lights, then 4' led shop lights which I still used this year along with these new "grow lights", and so am able to give you a side by side comparison. The end result: the shop lights grew good plants; the grow lights grew BETTER plants. The difference was quite noticeable. I chose white lights; I cannot speak about other colours available.The mounting clips had a good tight grip on the light body, yet not difficult to attach. The connector wires were long enough to connect lights on an upper and lower shelf.If you're looking for grow lights, and lost in the mountain of information out there, forget about the light spectrum charts, light meter readings and light measurement units you've never heard of before. Just buy these lights and call it a day. You and your plants will both be happy.

I was concerned that these wouldn’t be bright enough to prevent leggy seedlings like you get from comparably priced ‘shop lights’. The color on these is good (not the hideous burple). Yesterday, my chamomile actually started flowering! These are actual grow lights, imagine my shock (the manufacturer was not lying!). Compared to my CMH lights, well it’s not comparable but if you keep these lights about 4 to 6 inches from your seedlings as soon as they sprout, you can program your plants to grow strong and stocky, especially if you also add an oscillating fan to lightly move the plants and stimulate them as they grow. Very satisfied with the early results. Can’t speak to durability, but I like the system and it’s dead simple to daisy-chain these lights. These lamps are grounded and come with a grounded plug. On 2 by 4 foot shelving, I thought I could get away with two lights per shelf, but I think I need three lights per shelf to get more even lighting (I just ordered more of these today). I like the reflectors and these are easy to install. Overall, these seem to be good grow lights.

exactly as we hoped, low power but perfect intensity, we move the units up and down our homemade stand as the seeds germinate and grow, replaced older version of incandescents. We had no issues setting them up, slide one end of the curved reflector into the slot and apply gentle pressure to slide it over the length, don’t try snapping them in place sideways. Every light plugs into the other at one end or the other in a logical male/female way with the included power cables that are approximately 2 feet long, which attaches to a 6 food cord for the wall receptacle. When you are ready to attach them all together (or just a few) start from the cord that attaches to the receptacle in your wall and work backwards. Provides a 4 foot by 4 foot area of sufficient growing light. Has tie wraps and metal clips included for attaching each light to a hook or metal shelf unit etc.

Lights were as advertised and everything went together with ease . We used 3 per level on our rack assemblies .

Absolutely fantastic! This brand was regularly mentioned as a go-to in the plants groups I follow. I use 2 for my plants, and the other 2 to replace awful fluorescent lighting in a windowless office. They are perfect for both uses, look great, and are surprisingly low priced for what you get. I will definitely be buying more.
