Excellent additional source of calcium for laying hens and they love it. Will have to set up routine shipments.

Obviously you have no control over what 4lbs is, the amount was less than I imagined. Ordering online is tricky as far as picturing what you are actually recieving. The size of pieces is perfect for our adult chickens. They seem happy with it, I've had to refill their dish just a few days after initially filling it. I'll be looking into a bigger bag for any future purchases because the 4 lb bag won't be lasting long. We have 5 chickens, I think their calcium need is higher at 6 years old. So this bag might last longer for someone with younger chickens. Otherwise I recommend comparing the 50lb bag with other options.
