Reunion Moon Cakes Gift Box 1.76lb Mooncakes

The cakes were fresh, moist, tasted amazing (until we got the surprise durian cake but tbh of the durian products I've tried before, this was the least funky and far more sweet than I'm used to) with tea. My friends and I had a lot of fun trying these and I believe they were worth the money; I would purchase again even with the risk of durian. The quality was high with no mold, no spoilage, and upon breaking them apart a soft and chewy texture was promised and delivered. I will go as far as stating that these cakes are my new favorite snack for special occasions.

Very pasty, and gritty. I made the mistake of not researching moon cakes more before buying these. Though, they high quality, and very dense with a nice subtle flavor. Individually packaged with their own separate boxes. Unfortunately, they aren't labeled within the box. Good product anyways!

Disgusting. Tastes like soap. Nearly inedible

We were looking forward to the moon cakes, the packing is nice, but the tastes were not authentically made. We didn't enjoy them. We cut up 3 moon cakes out of 8 to share and we didn't finish them. The rest had to go in the trash. If you're used to authetic Asian tastes this is not for you. We were also expecting the fourth flavor, bean paste, because we bought the 4 flavors pack. It did not come with a fourth flavor.

Delicious! Four great fruit-flavored fillings with pretty pastry patterns (two of each kind, eight mooncakes total). The flavors are labeled in hanzi on the pastry itself. (Your phone's OCR may be able to translate for you if you need it.) The pastry is dry and the filling is sticky, perfectly balanced. They're a little denser than fresh mooncakes, but that's to be expected given their shelf life. (The date on the package is the manufacture date, NOT the expiration date.) Each mooncake came in its own cute box with a rabbits-and-moon design. Well worth the money.
