I started out using the cleanser and then purchased the shampoo, also. I did find I needed more treatment for my dry scalp and then bought their medicated shampoo. Now I use body wash for body and then alternate every few days using the regular and the medicated shampoos. If I were you, just try the body wash as shampoo and see if your hair and scalp like it.
