There is some moisture inside the packaging, but I’ve never had any issues with mold. I always store them in the fridge as soon as I receive them. I really like that they come divided into three separate packs, which makes storage and portioning convenient. With some other brands, there’s a sour smell and I have to rinse the rice cakes before cooking. These don’t have any sour smell, so I can use them right away without rinsing. They are bite-sized and absorb sauce well. The texture is just right, nicely chewy without being too tough. I bought a 3-pack and was hoping the expiration date would be long enough. I purchased them on February 9, and the expiration date is September 12, which gives plenty of time.
