tarte creaseless setting & brightening powder - lavender (fair to medium skin tones) - full size

I LOVE the Tarte brand and highly recommend ALL of their products. I have really sensitive skin around my eyes and a lot of products cause them to become extremely painfully irritated, but I have never had that problem with any of the Tarte products. I bought this setting powder in the lavender shade, which is perfect for my light skin tone. This powder lasts long on my combo skin, and is not glittery or shimmery at all. It soaks up oil where needed, but doesn't dry out my skin either (nor does it cause my to break out in any way). This is a really great setting powder!

Perfect setting powder over under eye concealer & entire face. Subtle glow. Great packaging. Unscrew top & there is a flip up lid that holds a small puff (nice for dabbing powder under eyes/corners of nose). Once that part is lifted up, the powder has a 'mesh' like cover over it, so no spilling & no mess. Just dab your brush onto powder 👍

I’ve tried so many setting powders that promised to smooth and brighten, but most of them either settled into fine lines or left me looking like I lost a battle with a flour sifter. This one from Tarte is the real deal. The lavender tone instantly wakes up my complexion, it’s subtle, not chalky, and somehow makes me look like I actually slept last night. It sets my concealer perfectly without that dry or cakey look, even after hours of wear. I also love that it gives a soft, blurred finish instead of a flat matte one, so my skin still looks alive and natural. Bonus: the little puff it comes with is actually useful (for once), and it’s mess-free enough to throw in a makeup bag. If you’re looking for a brightening powder that makes you look rested, smooth, and not 10 years older by the end of the day, this one’s worth every penny.

Although not creaseless…it does crease less than many other setting powders. Of course, this could be due in part to my age and the growing number of creases in my face :(

I’m impressed! I hate using powders on my face. I have VERY DRY SKIN. I only use liquid foundation and liquid blush, highlighter, etc…but I thought I’d give this a try. Even under my eyes it doesn’t crease or look dry like EVERY OTHER setting powder I’ve tried. I have the lavender and pink. Use lavender under my eyes and pink everywhere else. I have travel size and regular. I wish both sizes had the place to store the sponge inside the case. If u leave the plastic on u can. But u can’t if u don’t. Ull end up with icky powder from face oils. Other than that, I love it!
