Works for Liberty Puerto Rico!
Just got it. Inserted the Liberty sim and it worked!! So it works for Liberty customers in Puerto Rico. I have a grandfathered plan from ATT that included a home hotspot, and Liberty has honored it. I rely on it for home internet, but the old router (12 years) was falling apart. Seems to be working perfectly!! Very happy. 😃 -----Update: Still working very well!!! (almost two weeks of continuous usage)

Hotspot was unusable
When I tried to set up the hotspot via the webui it asked for an admin password. The default password is under the battery but when I entered that password it said it was incorrect. So I tried doing a factory reset, which for this unit entails holding down the power button for 15 seconds, but that did not get me to the reset menu. Apparently someone had previously locked that feature out soooooooo without a valid admin password I couldn't do anything with the device. Returned it. BTW, it also had someone else's SIM card still in it when I received it.

Everyone should have one. Portable, on the go, emergencies, non-emergencies great device
I got my first one two days before the Covid lockdown, never look back, fantastic device, At that time, I was granted in at $25 a month unlimited Internet, so I keep the same device, I just buy a new one, use the same account so my fee doesn’t go up. But one thing you must know, make sure when you’re charging it. It’s in the right charger, too much of a powerful charger and it will heat the battery up and destroy a lot quicker, I found out the yard way twice. Now I use the right charger. It never heats up always works.

Good low budget hot spot
Can’t complain for the price. Works with ATT prepaid data service. I do suggest bringing it to an ATT store to have it activated rather than trying to do it on your own online and double check that they are giving you a data plan. It was an ordeal getting that mess straightened out. The signal on it is no better than the signal on your phone but where there is a signal, we use it to stream movies and shows on the TV while we are camping.

Good for the money
Works much better than I thought it would. Has one period every day for 30 minutes to an hour that the signal is in and out while streaming. We live in the middle of nowhere. Tons of trees and 90% of the time only 1 bar on cell phones. It’s a ton faster than Hughes with 4 to 5 devices connected. But does go through the data. We switched to the unlimited preimium plan. But is still much cheaper than the internet bill. The reason I gave it 5 stars is cause it’s much better than what I had.
