If you have pets, this is a safe and useful item to have on hand. It really helps with flea infestations and maintaining a clean environment afterwards.

Safe Passive Insect Killer
This stuff will not only kill bugs (roaches, bedbugs, ants, fleas, mites and lice, but also drain flies and mosquitoes if the fly through it while the dust is airborne or land on a surface with it on it as their wings stir it up just enough to cover them with it]. For those who claim it doesn't work or work well, it's because they don't know how to properly apply it for each stage of an infestation. Then they remove it too soon. NOTE: TURN OFF AC and heaters because you don't want the dust getting into as it's corrosive microscopic particles will damage them and clog filters very quickly. The dust is only dangerous to people and pets while it's airborn. Run fans on high to help it settle. It will take 8 hours or longer to completely settle. Stage 1: Heavy Infestations. Very heavily apply in every nook, cranny, crack, electric outlets, vents, into walls, furniture legs, ceilings and doors. For this you need a P100 rated respirator with pro level filters. Do not remove the DE dust until it starts to change color. Remove and re-apply. Stage 2: Still a noticeable bug problem, but significantly improved. While you still want to keep it thick in cracks and crevices to keep the bugs from entering in the first place a lighter somewhat lighter dusting elsewhere should be good enough. If not, re-apply. This too may require two or more applications. Stage 3: Maintenance. Less heavy in cracks and crevices as long as it still blocks their pathways into and around your home. Light dusting everywhere else. When I moved into my apartment roaches and bedbugs had all but taken over. I followed this plan and, now, not a single bug of any kind for the last 13 months. Bugs can not become immune to it. Messy, sure. Labor intensive, yep. Expensive, no. Safe, yes, if used and handled properly. I recommend it very very highly. Best stuff for the contol of insect pests in your home.

Excellent product
I use this on my yard to kill fleas primarily. I sprinkle it on dry catfood and will mix in eet to insure worms wont develop, much less stick around. It works for various things. Its the best for this product. Food grade only if you have pets.
