These r nice vibrant colors. Mix well and I will reorder
I love these watercolors. The are a budget friendly set for this beginner but I like the brightness of the colors. They go on smooth. I have bought others im going to name grabbie sorry but those r horrible. These mix smooth and are not chalk like after drying a bit. I can add more water the next day and they do fine. Im buying a second set next week due to the fact all mine fell out of case and I am colorblind a bit. So I have to read what color im using at times. This set gives me a diagram of what color is in each pan. I definetly will continue to use and play and learn with them

Awesome set for the price
My regular practice watercolors are Cotman pans, I use them for practice, studies and on the go painting, and the palettes are really hard to beat for portability, mixing areas , the transparency of colors which is important when you begin learning watercolors and affordability when you need new pans. I wanted something larger but no too large to be able to take a couple of larger brushes , and also needed to buy extra color half pans. I found this set, read about them and for the price of just a new metal palette similar in size (like other reviewers have posted) + $6 I decided to take a chance. And I am very happy I did. This set is truly transparent except for a couple of colors, zero chalkiness, they re wet easily and won't rub off the paper after dry. The tin itself is well made, it has a ring at the bottom. The brush is not of use for me because it is very soft and has no much body to it. This set is perfect for practice, I wouldn't use them for final works because there is no light fastness rating compared to my Cotmans for example, but if you use them in your covered sketchbook they should be fine. At first it might seem like there are many similar colors but you'll get surprised once you start mixing. Also having 34 colors the set will last you for a while, considering you can't buy half pans separately. Many of the colors actually granulate very nice which is a nice surprise. This set is way better than other cutesy brands, I was gifted a set of Koi and gave them away because they were so chalky and good only for coloring but not mixing and learn about watercolors. You can actually practice well with this set. I have attached some photos for your comparison with Cotman colors. You have every color you need if you are just beginning with this set and instead of buying more colors or more expensive paint to begin with try buying good paper to really enjoy watercolor and a good brush.

Beautiful Watercolors!
As a watercolor beginner, I love these watercolors. They are much better than some other ones I’ve tried in the past that made me despise watercolor. These are not chalky! The colors are pigmented and beautiful, easy to activate and use. I would definitely recommend this product to any beginners! The case itself is a very nice and durable Tun. It closes very easily and securely. It does have a ring on the bottom to hold in, which I am not very fond of, but I can remove it if I want so that’s not a big deal! I’m sure it comes in handy for some artists. I love how small and compact this watercolor tin is as it is easy to carry around, and it’s such a pretty color too! It does have space on the lid to mix if you’d like as well, which is very handy and helps save desk space when working. The watercolors are poured into plastic wells, so that’s something to keep in mind, if you prefer half pans that you can move around, but personally, I don’t mind. Also the water brush is just fine, but I prefer to use traditional painting brushes. But I tested it out and it does just fine. Very convenient and easy to store. A nice touch for on the go painting! Overall, great watercolors! I purchased them a while back and I throughly enjoyed using them! (The pumpkin painting I did was done on Canson watercolor paper and it works beautifully)

Great for the price, few issues though.
I was initially skeptical about these, since I'm really anxious about spending on art supplies..but these are really nice! They satisfy all my watercolor needs; with very vibrant and rich colors that can go as pastel or deep as I need. The brush is comes with is nice! It is terribly noticeable that it's of lower quality. Despite this, it works exceptionally well. Just make sure you clean it and shape it properly after uses, and it should live a long life! The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because, despite the removable watercolor blocks, they don't sell refills of them. Every artist has those one or more colors they use up more than the others, and re-buying the whole thing would get out of hand. Though, t's not a big deal when you consider you can upgrade to better quality paints over time. My second reason is that some of the product gets wasted since it's pulled off by the protection surrounding it. You can salvage it and stick it back on, but it's a nuisance, and it doesn't leave the paints flat. You can see it in the close up photos I took on the same day I opened them.

I'm Impressed!
These are wonderfully vivid, very pigmented and smooth and the tin is very pretty. I own 3 brands of expensive professional watercolors adding up to over 140 colors and I have used them all. I know how good paints are supposed to act. I had heard wonderful things about this set and wanted paints I could keep in our camp trailer and not worry about them getting damaged, lost or stolen. I have swatched all the colors and painted a couple of play around doodle paintings just to see how they perform. They act just like you would expect watercolor paint to behave and the mixes are gorgeous. The raw sienna and the verditer blue are lacking in pigment and don't lay out very smooth but still not bad and all the other colors are wonderful. These would make a great purchase for kids, or to give to an adult just getting started. Heck for anyone to use in their journal or paintings that aren't intended to be sold. If the company were to provide pigment and light fast information they might even be acceptable for paintings that are to be sold. I will be purchasing another set for my sister since she has voiced the desire to learn to paint with watercolor. I would highly recommend these for pretty much anyone. P.S. I removed all of the colors from the plastic tray and put them in regular half pans with magnets on the bottom. They fit into half pans perfectly. FYI - For those of you planning to put the colors into half pans , the paint colors have glue on the bottoms to secure them to the plastic tray so they are a bit difficult to remove. I have recently purchased this set for my sister who mentioned she would like to try watercolor.

Great set of paint
I buy these with subscribe and save because I like them so much. These paints are highly pigmented, easy to use, and a great starter kit. I have 4 kids and we watercolor all the time (it's washable 😅), and they love these as well. The paints are also great for me, someone who has sold art in the past and paints on a fairly regular basis. It isn't Daniel Smith, but it's better than some other more well known brands that I've tried.

Okay for beginners
It’s okay for beginners for sure. Great selection of colours. Vibrant colours while painting. But with more transparent finishes and bigger pieces, once the paint dries, it doesn’t look the best. Dries a bit patchy.
