So Besides already having set it to 1600 from the very beginning, I began to unlink the ram and go into manually setting all the speeds. I tried installing cpu-z, but it was full of bloatware and nonesense... So on my phone I looked for screenshots from the recommended app to tell me what all the settings should be...I already knew it should run at 9/9/9/24 instead of the 11/11/13/32 that it showed up as...but there was some 10 more configurations and a second set on top of that....I ended up leaving some of the defaults as I couldnt find anything online for their proper settings and made sure the second matched the first instead of having 0s and running as auto. People write that this is good overclocking ram....and the board I bought was amazing for overclocking.... I no nothing of that math and just kept at it all and got it up and running! so its all good.
