This is an awesome little RC boat! My boys (my husband and my eight year old son) both LOVE this boat! It's so fun to run up to the lake and zip it around for a while. Battery life is decent... You get about 10-15 minutes runtime (thankfully the lake is close by!). The remote lets you know when you're starting to run low on battery so you can bring it to shore. And the boat surprisingly goes pretty fast! We're going to order a second battery so we can spend more time at the lake each time! I would definitely recommend this RC boat if you're looking for something fast & fun, yet affordable. After reading some of the other reviews, I think an important thing to know is that once the battery is charged, the boat HAS GOT TO BE IN THE WATER in order to function!! If you turn it on outside of the water, it will be beep constantly at you as if it were malfunctioning. It needs water to work!

My kid really liked it, I myself use it too. Even in the beach is fast but i need a extra battery for more enjoyable moments coz it only runs for 30mins. Non stop use. All in all you get your money's worth.

It would be a good gift if you like somewhat fast boats but if you like fast boats I would get a different one because there are other boats for the same price that go faster. Also they don't say how fast it goes in the pictures they say it in small letters to the right of it which is also downside because I was wanting a fast boat and it looked faster in the video but it only goes 15 mph. Overall is a pretty good boat I just wish it went faster.

I took this to a lake and drove it around a little. It felt like it was super fast and it runs insanely well. Overall if you're looking for a good boat, get this.

This is our 2nd boat. Thank goodness we bought a warranty. Just like the 1st one, after the 3rd use the boat stops working correctly. We will be exchanging with the warranty because it is a super neat toy - just purchase the warra,you WILL will need it. Short battery life,that's my only REAL complaint.

We were the life of the lake! Bought these for my husband and 8 year old son. They had a blast and so did everyone watching. They are super fast, easy to maneuver and can dive under water. The self righting feature is the best. They have a really far distancing ability and let you know when the battery is getting low. I wish the battery lasted longer but with the low cost of the boats I didn't mind buying more batteries. Great buy.

The product was fun and worked great for about 5 minutes, but then gradually lost power and stalled out. We pulled it out of the water and tried to identify any issues or problems that may have been impacting it, but we were unable to identify any problems or impediments. It seemed to just stop working. We checked batteries, checked inside the boat for water or other problems, but couldn't find anything. I get that things wear out, but would have expected more than 5 minutes of fun out of this product.

This is the best $49 I’ve spent in a while. It’s a challenge to learn how to fully control the boat at high speed - but mindlessly entertaining. I bought an extra battery to double the run time. I also like that the boat’s propeller won’t turn unless it’s in the water - great safety feature. My neighbors like the little stunt show I put on with it too.

My 6 year old son bought this with his own money. I was into high end rc vehicles when I was young so I have a good idea of what is good and bad. I was not expecting much as this was about the lowest cost boat that looked half decent. I am actually really impressed with this boat. It looks well made and is solid. It is really fast. I was quite surprised just how fast it was. It is really good in rough water. It is super easy to self right and it has a good seal on the hatch. You can even submarine with it a bit after launching off a wave and stays dry. Couple nice bonuses are a spare prop and a rubber bow cover that is great for your pool. Love the audible signals when getting low on battery. Battery life is pretty good. Again, better than I was expecting. Son loves it. Was a great buy and would highly recommend.

Water got in the inside of the unit. Boat does go fast and grandson happy with it. Just hope the water does not hamper being able to use it long term. Battery lasted about 20 minutes
