Question 1

How do you open or utilize the 2 1-2 gallon container? Is there an attachment?

Accepted Answer

Sorry for the tight cap! We have to tighten the 2.5g and 5g containers more than usual so they survive shipping. The best way to get the cap off is to wear a rubber gardening glove.
If you can't get the cap off that way, then we recommend buying a '3/4" knockout drum faucet' which can be screwed into the cap for dispensing.
Thanks for reaching out!

Question 2

can anyone answer the question wormcasting by its self or do you need to add something else indoor grower

Accepted Answer

This is a great question. Worm castings help to digest insoluble nutrients in your soil. You still need to add nutrients. There are two ways to do this: one is by adding super soil or compost soil, these types of soil have un-broken-down minerals already in them or alternatively you can use liquid or dry nutrients and water them into your soil. In either case case whether you use new soil or not, the worm castings will help break down the minerals and create a microbial ecosystem in your soil.

Question 3

Is it recommended for muhly grass and extreme heat? live in atlanta and my deck gets hot, hotter every year

Accepted Answer

This organic fertilizer works for anything that grows including muhly grass. The heat should only increase the microbial grow in the soil (a good thing). So no need to be concerned about temperature.

Question 4

I use hydrogen peroxide as anti-fungal soil drench in 20gal potted rose. q: what single product to use additional to wormtea for soil restoration?

Accepted Answer

You could use blood meal or bone meal, but I would suggest reading up on what nutrients your rose needs. I like to use Superthrive on my plants in ground and in pots. Also you should replace the soil about every 3 years in containers. Hope this helps
