Neutral review. Feels ok in the beginning but then skin got irritated

I can’t help but feel duped, hustled, mislead, and dare I say marketed into buying this product! I purchased this item during the March Amazon sale and paid $50 (marked down from ~$69) for this 1.69 oz bottle. As of today 4/2/25, its going for $52. Please read on for my rating and rant! Feedback surrounding the PDRN injections can be summarized as excruciating. I thought best to go with a topical which may take longer to produce results but will get the job done! I am in a few days into using this product and something told me to review the ingredients list to see where the c-PDRN 0.5% is placed. Common knowledge is the ingredients are listed from the most present to the least present. I couldn’t find listed c-PDRN or PDRN or Cosmetic polydeoxyribonucleotide – the naturally occurring substance found in salmon gonads. Instead, the closest thing I can find in the ingredients list is Hydrolyzed DNA. Ok, so I head to Google for some understanding. Hydrolyzed DNA refers to DNA that has been broken down into smaller fragments through a process called hydrolysis, often used in cosmetic products for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties. No mention of the salmon’s gonads! No hint at it either!! So, does this serum have DNA derived from the salmon’s gonad or NOT? I think NOT! Is a shame, b/c all I did was pay $50 for a moisturizing serum. The c-PDRN was the selling point and all I seem to get is a bargain basement cosmetic item with “hydrolyzed DNA” where I could’ve gotten the same ingredients list for less. On a positive note, the packaging’s color scheme I guess is supposed to give off marine cutesy vibes; however, the packaging is the around the way plastic that does not match the price point! There is better packaging for cosmetic items at Target. Lastly, will I return this item?? Yes, return initiated. Reason given – item not as described! Three stars for the moisturizing ingredients, but that’s it!

Using the red-light LED mask in combination with this anti-aging serum has been working great for me over the past three weeks. It feels light, moisturizing with a mild scent.
