I absolutely love this brush! It makes grooming so much easier, and the self-cleaning feature is a game changer. Saw this curved rake advertised on a channel and had to try it so I bought this set which was reasonably priced and also contained a slicker brush in case I didn't like the rake. So I have a Great Pyrenees/ Anatolian Shepherd mix - big! The Anatolian shed a lot (the Pyrenees tend to mat or clump) and I've had hair all over my house!! Piles of hair, hair balls, hair cords, you name it! I used the rake for the first time today and it works wonders!! Piles of hair came out, enough to fill a queen sized futon and it didn't hurt my dog. He was very pleased and stood still the whole time. This is really a great tool and will save me a lot of hair gathering as well as keeping my dog happy and healthy and cool.

I have this item andBought this one for my daughter because every time i dog sat her dog, his coat was full and dropping hair as he walked through the house. I would sit on the back porch with my Furminator and pull a huge pile of hair off of him. Now that they have their own, the grandkids actually help with grooming like they did at my house. Everyone loves the way It pulls all the loose hair from underneath the coat and gets rid of all of the undercoat. It’s easy, even my grandkids do it. It looks great. The hand grip is wonderful and comfortable in your hand. The dogs don’t seem to mind it either the round tips don’t cause any damage to the dog or anything else.

I love that brush is easy clean

Prior to receiving this grooming set I had thought I would have to body clip my very thick wavy standard doodle, but I now think I will be able to keep her mat-free at a length of two inches or so. I have a good selection of slicker brushes and grooming rakes ad combs already, but this rake seems to actually get the knots out. The slicker brush works very well too, but we are talking masses of hair tying itself into knots constantly. All pieces are well made and easy to use. The grooming rake removes unbelievable amounts of hair and leaves my girl's hair shiny. I try to be gentle but firm and these tools make it possible for my pup to tolerate grooming happily. I do give frequent kibble for treats and lots of praise, but the efficiency of these grooming tools help immensely. I recommend them and I think they are a great value.

My dog and I absolutely love this brush set. The grooming rake does a fantastic job. It gets down through her thick coat and gets the hair that I have not been able to get with the tools I have. The brush has nice tips on the wires so it glides through so easy without hurting my little girl. It is so easy to clean with the push of a button. I definitely recommend this product. This is one of the best rakes I have used, it helps get deep in her thick coat and there is less hair for me to sweep up in the house. I would not hesitate getting this set. It is a very good value for your money.

My neighbor borrowed mine...never to be seen again...i guess she liked it that much .next time I won't brag so I will have to buy another set. No snags, removed so much undercoat, slick brush brought shine...ordering again.

As the owner of 2 Cavalier King Charles, we know grooming and brushing is a big part of being a dog owner and we were looking for a complete set that we could use at anytime to make our lives easier. This 3 pieces grooming set is very nice. The brushes feel well made and sturdy and the handle on either tools is quite comfortable and provides a non slippery grip. The de-matting tool works wonders on our dogs' thick coat and really help in with the shedding as well. It also helps getting rids of knots and the such quite nicely without too much of a hassle. The larger flat, self cleaning brush works really well on the ears, chest, underside and anywhere you want to simply comb out easily your pet's top coat. The self cleaning option is a nice addition and is easy to use to quickly clean up the bristles. Overall, this is a great set and it is definitively seeing quite a bit of use here!

The flea comb is very tough to work with on double coated dogs, but if fine for finer coats. Double coated dogs are difficult to deal with, especially in colder seasons. Too much hair! It isnt currently shedding season, but the design of the deshedding tool looks like it will work. I've always used a rake designed for double coats, and while it works, my dog doesnt like it. A deshedding season takes weeks to get through. This one looks like it will help by getting through the tangles easier. After 50 years of dealing with double coated dogs, you get to recognize what works and what doesnt. I have high hopes for this product. What really shines is the slicker. I have several that I've tried but I like this one the best. I can get my beast of a dog to sit longer with this slicker than any other I've tried. And the self cleaning feature? Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? What a great idea!! Brush, push a button to retract all of the wires, and the hair comes right off! I'm amazed. Such a simple concept, and it works perfectly. I originally thought it was just going to be a marketing gimmick, but it isn't. Without this, more than half the time grooming with a slicker on a Husky or Malamute is wrestling with the brush. By the time to get the brush cleaned, the dog is long gone. No longer!
