Both times were just poor craftsmanship breaks - first one the minute hand became loose and would just swing around freely (not much help for keeping time). Second time the crown broke off; so can no longer set time or wind the watch. Surprisingly, watch did start when wound, but unknown what kind of beating it took during shipping. Not worth waiting to find out, and it's too large to wear, anyway.
