I’m writing this review as someone who bought one of these for a single bird bath around 2 1/2 years ago. It has attracted more birds! However I do live in the woods so I’m sure there’s a lot of birds, but that’s not what I’m going to focus on. I would say this product is incredibly durable and reliable for a multitude of reasons! I live in the scorching heat of the south and it has held up through 100 degree days even when I let the bird bath go dry and it ran without water for hours, it has withheld against algae and the nastiness of a neglected bird bath cleaned a bit too late, it even withheld getting blown across my property by a tropical storm. Its put out a lot of water and I loved each different nozzle setting, though I chose to take off the nozzle completely as the smaller current attracted the most birds I found. Its sat through storms, heatwaves, etc in my bird bath and only now after 2 years has it started to peel and bleach in the sun, but even though it looks awful the motor is still functioning perfect! I would absolutely recommend this product to those having doubts, and while I’m sure there’s faulty ones out there I wouldn’t let that stop you from enjoying a solar powered fountain for your backyard birds to enjoy, or even pet birds!

I wanted a water feature for my garden and for the birds that could enjoy it especially in this hot weather. I purchased the stand and birdbath too. It was easy to put together and as soon as I took it outside in the sun, it was vibrating! I filled the bath with water and it worked immediately. I read the reviews that it only works with sunlight, which is true. But a few weeks later it stopped working. I thought I would have to throw it out. But I looked at reasons why it stopped, and it stated that the filter could be clogged. It sits where I have safflower seeds that the birds discard the shells. Amazon offered solutions but I didn’t know how to take the dang thing apart! I found a YouTube video that showed me how to get to the filter and clean the pump. Easy peasy! It’s fixed! I don’t know how long this will last but I love it and the birds love it too. They found it right away. I totally recommend this product.

I purchased this solar fountain as part of a recommended set that included a copper bowl, stand, and copper plate, and overall I'm happy with it. The fountain comes with several nozzle attachments, which gives you plenty of options. However, I found that most of the spray nozzles shoot the water much higher than I expected, causing water to splash outside the bird bath. Over time, that lowers the water level in the basin. My biggest concern is that if too much water splashes out, the solar pump can continue running with little or no water around it. That could shorten the life of the pump, so it's something to keep an eye on. I ended up using the simplest attachment (essentially the base without a spray nozzle), which creates a gentle bubbling effect instead of a tall spray. For my setup, it works much better because it keeps the water in the basin. The included plastic stabilizer pins are also essential. They keep the floating solar disc centered. Without them, the disc tends to drift around, causing even more water to splash over the edge, which can leave the pump with too little water. Overall, this is a good product, especially if you have a larger bird bath or basin where the higher spray has room to fall back into the water. If you're using a smaller basin like I am, I recommend using the base attachment for a gentle bubbling effect instead of the spray nozzles, and definitely install the plastic stabilizer pins to keep the disc from moving around. Those two adjustments made all the difference for me.

I bought 2 of these solar fountains and they looked so cute and fun for like two weeks and then it totally gave up on life. When it worked, it was actually really nice — good water flow, easy setup, and the different nozzles made it look fancy for a budget fountain. I grabbed it during the Prime sale, so at least I didn’t pay full price, because honestly… not worth it if it breaks this fast. If you just want a temporary little fountain moment, sure. But for long‑term use? Meh. This little bird bath fountain works pretty good. In the shade, it only gets enough solar power to put up a single squirt every second or two, which sometimes startles the birds (not paying attention). When it gets direct sunlight it makes a fountain continuously and works VERY well. When the wind is blowing, I noticed that much of the fountain water gets blown beyond the rim of the birdbath, so it can sometimes need to refilled with additional water later in the day. It is frequently windy where my birdbath is located, but I don't mind going out to refill in the afternoons. The fountain comes with adjustable stand-offs that keep the fountain centered in the birdbath and there are additional filters to keep junk out of the fountain's pump intake. Everything is working very well after about two weeks of continuous use. The birds seem to like it, and I like it too.

This solar pump is working great in a shallow dish approximately 2 ft diameter that I am using as a birdbath. I make sure to wash out the pump filter to remove any grass or flowers that have become caught in the pump. So far, it's working great. I don't use any of the special attachments for spray because it causes the water to evaporate too quickly since my dish is only abut 2" deep. The birds love it.

This was a great little bird bath fountain, but it stopped working after about a month. I think the water would get sprayed out of the bath so eventually the pump had nothing to pump and motor burnt out. I kept up with it at first but I work away from home all day so if I forgot…Don’t buy unless you are checking on water levels diligently or removing from sunlight when not able to! When it was working it was great and loved the different spray options!

Mine was delivered and installed same day. It worked great for about 3 weeks, and now nothing. When it did work, it was great. It does need constant direct light, there's no battery which is fine, and the height of the fountain is related to the amount/quality of sun. Then it died. I let it fully dry out and cleaned the motor the best I can.

Absolutely no installation required! The motor started working even with sunlight coming through windows after unboxing it. With the suction feet it's immovable, so there is no complaint of water falling out and getting empty. Just be sure to top up water in case of evaporation. So far so good. Will have to see how durable it is. As of now, I am happy with the purchase.

I put mine in a garden pot saucer for a shallow birdbath and it’s perfect. It gives off a pretty and soothing sound. I added a few flat rocks to allow butterflies & bees to land. Mine lasted about two summer seasons which is great for the price.

Worked for a month only which indicates poor quality of the product. I definitely don’t recommend it. Update on 30 Dec: My previous bad review was actually unjustified. I found that the small pump just needed to be rinsed a little bit to free it of some blockage. The product is still working. My apologies to the seller.
