LOVE this matcha! I have tried a few different ones, and this has been the best by far. I also like noritual labs matcha for everyday, however that one is very mild tasting. Can’t really taste the matcha. This one has a much more flavor and is very smooth. It’s very vibrant green and doesn’t even need sweetener because of the quality. I do think it’s expensive but it’s worth it to me.

This blend works beautifully for an everyday classic latte, this one is it. It froths so nicely and has such a velvety texture, with that bold, vibrant green color you want from a good matcha. Taste-wise, it’s smooth with bold umami and creamy sweetness, followed by a clean, rounded finish without that harsh bitterness. I wouldn’t pair this one with anything overly sweet because I think it can overpower the matcha itself. If you do want a little sweetness, I’d keep it simple and use something more natural like honey or a touch of maple. For my “for fun” latte , I muddled fresh blueberries with a little honey and finished it with fresh orange zest. 🫐🍊 The fruity sweetness paired really nicely with the earthy umami of the matcha without taking away from it.

I recently tried this matcha, and I loved it! When I whisked the matcha, it foamed up pretty fast which was convenient. This matcha has a good, green, vibrant color. It tasted pretty good and clean as well. I made an iced matcha latte with a little bit of honey and it made for a fun drink at the end of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed this matcha, I would repurchase!

If you prefer a matcha that isn’t strongly umami-forward or vegetal and you don’t enjoy bitterness or astringency, I think this one is worth trying. It has a gentle umami flavor and a natural sweetness to it. The packaging was also great. It’s a nice-quality bag that is easy to open and close, which I appreciate because it seals well to help keep the matcha fresh after opening. The scent reminded me of sweet cocoa, which was really pleasant. While scooping the matcha into my sifter, I noticed how smooth and velvety the powder is. I followed the preparation instructions provided on the packaging, and the matcha whisked very easily. I experienced no clumping. Drinking it on its own, the umami taste is the perfect amount, not too much and not too little. I didn’t notice any bitterness or astringency, which could be because of this matcha’s natural sweetness. As a latte with oat milk, it blends really well. It didn’t overpower the milk and the milk didn’t overpower the matcha either, so the flavor of both was the perfect balance.
