It’s a lot to work and it’s a pain in the ass. But it’s the only thing that made it better. New bed sheets every night so as to not re infect my self. Ringworm can stay i surfaces for months!!! I wanted to update my review however because I just found the generic version at Target for $3.99. Same amount. Same strength. ORIGINAL: I developed itchy patches on my skin after 2+ years of breastfeeding. My baby didn't have full-blown thrush in her mouth but my doctor suspects that some fungus from her mouth must have transferred to my skin. I have since stopped breastfeeding for 1.5 years but the itchy skin is so stubborn and continues to come and go. The Clotrimazole Betamethasone my doctor prescribed helped with itch and squashes flare ups but never completely eradicated the problem. It's a constant struggle and now I have skin discoloration. I found this product on Amazon with Tolnaftate as the active ingredient. I use it together with the Clotrimazole and the my itchy skin condition is much better. After a month, it rarely flares up. I hope that with prolonged and consistent use, my problem will go away once and for all. I also really like the cooling tea tree scent and feel. Helps relieve itching. For a 1 oz. tube of OTC antifungal cream, it is pricey but it is also FSA eligible.
