I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. I got the color "grey-stone" it is textured, similar to large grit sandpaper. It's not smooth like the solid color choices, but is "grainy" in a way. I prefer it over the stainless color options because they make noise ALL the time. Putting on a desk, carrying the cup with your keys, etc., it sounds like two metal pans hitting one another. The "stone" effect ones do not do that, they sound like any other cup being placed and used. The color of it is also phenomenal and is very modern. Keeps liquids hot OR cold for hours!
