I bought these fans because they were supposed to be quieter than other box fans and I needed something quieter than the one I bought for $20. They are NOT quieter. I have purchased Pelonis products in the past and always found them to have high quality products, so I didn't pay for he extra insurance, because the fans had a 1 year warranty. Forty-two days after I placed my order we are in the living room and one of the fan's plastic blades shatters, sending plastic shards everywhere. We were very fortunate we didn't get hit. It was incredibly dangerous. It was 12 days past Amazon's return window, so I had to contact Pelonis. They asked if I had registered the product, I said I had to tried, but the computer wouldn't let me because the fans don't have a serial number, just a mode number, She didn't believe me, so I had to send her pictures of every side of the fan. She could see, no serial number. So she submitted a ticket and I had to submit pictures of the broken fan, the model number plate, and my invoice, no problem except I sent 2 hours dealing with this, but okay, she was supposed to be getting me an exchange. Later in the day I get an email that I have to send the fan to Pennsylvania so they can see it first. It is a BOX FAN. It also states I have 7 days for it to arrive or my warranty will be void. The price for me to send a box fans with expedited shipping to Pennsylvania will cost as much as I paid for it. I called and talked to a different lady who understood my frustration. She had me send in more pictures and said she was just going to get me a refund. That night my credit card said it was processing a refund, but the next morning it was gone. I called back in and another lady said that the computer wouldn't allow the refund to go through and it was sent up to the escalation team and I should hear back from them in 24 to 48 hours. Here I am 4 days later and I've heard nothing, on top of which I'm a little concerned to run the other fan because what if it shoots plastic shards all across the room at us??? So, long story short, the fan may be dangerous and the customer service at Pelonis is horrible!

This PELONIS 20" box fan does a decent job for basic cooling and air circulation. It moves a good amount of air, especially on the higher settings, and the three speed options make it easy to adjust depending on the room temperature. It’s lightweight and versatile enough to use on the floor, in a window, or on a tabletop. However, there are a couple of downsides. The fan tends to vibrate during use, particularly on higher speeds, which can make it a bit noisy. More importantly, the blades seem somewhat fragile—if the fan tips over, there’s a risk of them getting damaged or breaking. Pros: Strong airflow, multiple speed settings, lightweight and versatile Cons: Noticeable vibration, can be noisy, blades may break if tipped over Overall, it works fine for general use, but the durability concerns and vibration keep it at an average rating.

Fantastic! Powerful box fan on all 3 speeds cools the room noticeably. The only reason for 4 stars is that the motor, although it runs very smoothly, is rather loud, even on the lowest speed. For some, the fan could used 1 or 2 lower speeds below its current lowest, just to gently move air. But I think it's a great fan, powerful enough to cool the room at any speed. I would definitely buy another one.

We purchased this fan to cool off a small room with a freeze dryer in it. The room was getting too hot with a regular fan in it, and the machine was getting overheated while running. The Box fan has managed to circulate the air around the machine and enables it to continue my freeze dryer production.

I don't know something's wrong with the Stars. They're trying to give him five stars. His fans pretty cool. I put it in my chicken pen to keep my chickens. Cool. Working very fine
