No taste, it's basically rock candy / sugar cube with no flavoring. My expectations were already at that level but what gets a star taken off is the color. For what is shown on the product page versus what you get its washed out trading bold coloring for light pastels. Konpeito is considered a table top candy which can have a displayable presence.
