I'm super excited about this Vine! I don't know exactly how many seeds I sowed but I ended up with about 15 plants that sprouted within the first week. I've had a couple that came up the next week but they seemed very weak and they didn't survive. The whole thing is about a foot and a half long now and it is winding itself around each other and growing like a weed. I'm super excited to see this mature I just transplanted it into a bigger pot where I can put a piece of lattice before it to grow on. We will see how Hardy this is. If it turns out to be a fairly Hardy plant I think I will grow it on my front wrought iron fence as a privacy screen that has the prettiest flowers and I can't wait to see the flowers on my own little plant!

Gorgeous and a show stopper with large prolific flowers! I planted the seeds in March in direct sun directly in a large pot with a trellis for the vine to climb up on. Bloom late summer, very rewarding SMALL scale vine. Unfortunately deer are attracted so I lost the first flush of growth until I bird netted the trellis

Barely sprouted inside, under grow lights, planted months ahead of last frost. I got 2 tiny plants from the whole package of seed that were able to be transplanted to outside containers in the warm Alaska June sun (zone 4-5), but neither grew at all. They may need a hot southern climate, but nothing in the description hinted at that. Most flowers do very well here, and I put them in a prime spot where other vines (tobacco, creeping jenny, petunias, vinca, etc.) have done well. Very disappointed.

Can you believe that this is a single plant? I'm the one that planted it and I can hardly believe it. I thought it'd be nice to be on the corner of my tomato planter just to give some color thinking it would stay somewhat small. Boy was I wrong this thing has completely consumed three of my tomato Vines and is still growing needless to say I will not be growing it here next year but I will definitely be growing it somewhere else it's too beautiful not to grow it. I live in zone 5B and I'm hoping the seeds will not survive the winter and vines start popping up everywhere next year like my native morning glories but we'll see. I'm still going to be planting some more regardless. Also hummingbirds really do love this plant they cannot get enough of it.

One pack of seeds planted 2025 made soooo many flowers. Only one seed made all flowers in the photo with blue sky above it. Not sure if it was green thumb, shake & feed fertilizer , or perfect weather! October photo, grown Northern Ohio.

These seeds germinated well in Zone 6 here in NE Massachusetts. The vines grew quickly and nicely up a shepherd’s hook and produced flowers which the hummingbirds loved. I appreciate the shades of orange and red colors of this cultivar which you will hardly see in nurseries and big box garden stores. I found the seeds a good value for the amount of plants you'll end up growing. Growing plants by seed is so much more economical, so give these seeds a try for yourself and enjoy the beauty of knowing you paid much less for a beautiful plant you grew yourself. P.S. I have bought other seeds from this company and can attest to their quality and great customer service; when my other seed order was lost in the mail they quickly send out a new packet.

Rapid shipping, over 100 seeds. Did a quick test and sowed three seeds. Had roots within 3 days using baggie method. Definitely would purchase again.

Germination rate is poor at best. I’ve done these seeds before from a different supplier and they were fine. Tried planting in weather above 80 degrees, in the sun, in the ground, in pots, by the lunar calendar, anything to get them to sprout. A few came up and fingers crossed on blooming.
