My kitchen lighting makes the bag look yellowish, but it isn’t! It’s a very pretty cream/linen color.I bought this as a β€œjust in case” bag on my trip to Italy, with the intention of using it as an extra carry on in case my suitcase got too full of souvenirs. Glad I did because it came in handy!I have also used this as a beach bag, and I was surprised to find the outer pockets waterproof! My water spilled inside the outer side pocket and none of it seeped or leaked into the main compartment.My only complaint is that I wish there was a bigger or additional inner pocket, and the strap that is used to fold it up just kind of awkwardly hangs off the bag when it’s unfolded. Other than that, I’ll probably buy another color! I ordered it because it looked like it would hold a large water bottle, and because I wanted a medium size tote to take on shore excursions while on a cruise. It definitely will hold a large water bottle on the outside, in fact probably one on each side. Quality seems very good. Fabric is sturdy and appears well made.
