They took some time to break in, particularly the toe post. I work from home and wore them all day, everyday around the house. The left sandal frayed and finally broke a few days ago at the toe post! I don't think I have ever used another pair of foot wear as extensively. The embroidery had completely worn away. So I bought a new pair without thinking twice! I wear size 10 shoes and have wide feet, but I had to get size 12 for these. Great quality, beautiful embroidery.
