Review: Very versatile and addicting snack! - These came up as a suggestion after buying Quest and Wilde chips. Even though I don't like bananas (same family as plantains) I saw the reviews mention they're like potato chips. I gave them a try and sure enough, they're like a thick, crunchy potato chip! No banana like flavor at all, only a slightly sweet aftertaste. They're just oily enough to hold powdered flavorings, too. For a sweet crunchy snack, I tossed some in a bowl with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Works great with garlic and onion powders as well! I just received my second container and both have been fresh.

**Q: What kind of oil are these made with?**
A: If you're able to zoom in on one of the photos it shows the ingredient list. This is one of those products that says it may contain multiple kinds of oils, including palm, soy, sunflower, cottonseed, corn, and canola.  

For some reason this came up when I was looking for avocado oil chips :(

A: Premium plaintains, palm oil and sea salt

**Q: so no sugar added?**
A: These plantain chips are Maduros so they are naturally sweet but they don’t have any added sugar. They are delicious!

**Q: are there health benefits?**
A: Considering this is one of those products that uses multiple kinds of oils -including soy and canola- it actually may be counterproductive to health. Full ingredients are listed in one of the photos.

These Garlic Plantain chips have been delicious in the past. My last 2 orders were fresh but greatly over salted. We put them out at a party and everyone agreed the excess salt made them impossible to eat. Please reduce the amount of salt. Both containers had to be thrown away. We are looking for another brand and that is sad.
