Yes – the blender has a timer that counts up in seconds during blending. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the blender will go into sleep mode. The screen will display zzz’s when the unit is in sleep mode

How many manual speeds are there?

This is a full size blender with plenty of power

This machine is a bit larger than I expected, but it is easy to use, has plenty of power, and based on our early usage does a great job. The instructions worn against chopping, ice, but it easily handles fruit, and other solids that we have tried. It is not particularly quiet, but I have no other machines with which to compare it. I think the blend quality is excellent, and we have detected no leaks so far, keeping in mind that it is brand new.
