Q: Does one side have a rough surface for cleaning? The Tornado Power ones do.

It is a rough paper towel that got stuck in my system.

Q: will these work in upright vacuum cleaners such as Tornado CV 30?

I am no expert but it should work on any hose with vacuuming power.

Q: Are these are disposable?

Yes. You run them through the vacuum line and they end up in the vacuum bag for disposal.

Q: Which ones are better these or “tornado power” had a better experience, with which one?

I have only used this Free Flow brand. After we had hardwood floors refinished, & central vac (15 yrs old) seemed to run slower as a result of all the accumulated dust/sawdust around the house. I put a new bag in the system & ran 1 of these through at every access point. Then I checked the bag & the noticed cloths had picked up quite a bit of dust as well as the reddish brown sawdust from the refinishing. Central vac now at top strength again. So I'm happy with the product. I'll use it more regularly to keep clear of the daily dust accumulation.
